eSigma Overview

eSigma is the Open Source for Business Processes!
eSigma is a standards-based business process portal that allows you to discover, publish, and manage Web Services. We provide organizations with the tools and technologies that enable them to share information and services, securely over the Internet, utilizing standards to enable business process governance.



eSigma provides the assurance necessary for collaborating using Web Services. Our standards-based architecture ensures platform independence and promotes reusability.
Service Providers There are many organizations that provide Web Services designed to provide access to information or business services. eSigma allows organizations that to publish their assets so that consumers can utilize them. Service Publisher: Organizations that want to either publicly, or commercially, make their Web Services accessible. Service Exchange: Vertical markets and on-line marketplaces that wish to meter business services, providing process governance. Service Consumers Consumers of Web Services vary depending on function. eSigma provides a Simple User Interface (S.U.I.) that allows consumers to discover, publish and manage their private portfolio of business services. Retail Consumer: Services that are consumed or invoked, by machine or user, and the Service Level Agreement (SLA) has been satisfied. Service V.A.R.: Some consumers of Web Services will add further value by adding orchestration specific to a particular business scenario. Public Registries eSigma synchronizes Web Services with an array of external service providers and makes them accessible to our users. The range of service providers is broadening as UDDI is now becoming an acceptable standard for cataloging Web Services. We allow our users to monitor any publicly made available business service through the process portal.	Provider Services eSigma provides the core tools and technologies to service publishers designed to enable them to monitor and meter Web Services. Telos: Our Open Source UDDI registry that allows organizations to catalog Web Services using a standardized technology platform. OnDemand: Dedicated Web Service catalog solution, using Telos, managed in a remote data center. Consumer Services The ability to discover, publish and manage Web Services are provided by eSigma as public processes and allow organizations to promote business processes outside the corporate firewall. MyeSigma: On-line portal that provides users with the tools necessary to collaborate using Web Services. OnDemand: Hosted Web Service catalog solution, using Telos, managed in a remote data center. eSigma Repository XML based Web Service repository that manages related meta-data providing persistence and secure messaging as services delivered over the Internet. eSigma Solutions Solutions designed to support and promote the global standardization of Web Services, utilizing Service Oriented Architectures.
