Test Web Services for free at eSigma.com
10 June 2005 -- eSigma, based in Chicago, IL, has completed its Web Service testing platform that allows users to test services before incorporating them into their composite business applications. The service testing platform makes it easy to test any Web Service regardless of the development platform used to create the service.
"This is just a natural evolution for us as we continue our rollout of advanced functionality around a next generation Web Services process portal," said Jeff Faath, VP of Engineering at eSigma. "Our product road-map is full of incremental offerings for the growing community of organizations making the move into SOA frameworks."
To test a Web Service, users can go to eSigma.com and enter the location of the Web Service to ensure that it is valid and connects seamlessly end-to-end. In the past, organizations wishing to use Web Services to build composite applications had no simple way of testing the service. Additionally, services built upon differing platforms required different testing solutions. Using eSigma.com, it is now possible to easily test any Web Service, regardless of platform or application framework.
"Current on-line service testing platforms do not allow you to test any Web Service. Our experience in dealing with an array of Web Service types allowed us to develop a robust testing and invocation platform," said eSigma Founder and Chief Architect, Troy Haaland. "There was a clear need in the market to provide users with a free Web Service testing platform, so we delivered it."
