WS-Security authentication integrated – March, 30 2006
WS-Security authentication has been added to the service testing platform allowing users to securely invoke Web Services. The new capability will allow Web Service providers to add authentication to their services ensuring secure access to consumers.
Engineering Notes
Currently, the UsernameToken authorization method is supported with either a clear text password or with a SHA-1 digested password. The WS-Security header data is inserted into the SOAP message just before invocation and is never displayed on the screen.
