Delivering a higher standard for Process Collaboration one dot at at time!
Over the past two decades large enterprises have been adopting new information technologies and absorbing the total cost of ownership associated with them. They have realized the gains of implementing new technologies that enable their enterprise, with the priority of saving capital and gaining market share. Technology document standards such as EDI and UN/EDIFACT have allowed companies, globally, to share information on a transactional level closing the loop and driving out cost. This level of collaboration has enabled us to see the initial benefits of a networked enterprise.
eSigma realizes the need to go beyond the integration barrier, as internet protocols and technologies are now supported within most organizations, large to small. The way to get beyond one integration milestone requires the implementation of Open Standards Based Technologies and the deployment of standardized interfaces that are system and data agnostic. This will allow vertical markets within every market segment to distribute the actual cost of total ownership.
Today (2002), large organizations that are on the technological edge are trying to govern and leverage internal business processes, with the hope of extending them beyond the firewall. This focus in technology spawns from the promise of change management and operational excellence. eSigma is founded in the belief that technology in and of itself, will not enable the necessary level of participation required for true collaborative commerce. We understand that new service models need to incorporate all aspects of your enterprise, with the knowledge that saving capital and the promotion of communication is of high importance to your organization. Technology should be transparent to your organization and business partners. This will not only strengthen your lines of business, but provide a solid foundation for sustained growth.
In order to truly conduct business in this digital paradigm we must deliver the touchtone that drives collaborative commerce and pushes it past the transactional model. The requirement to share and extend processes calls for the need to implement standards that enable the dynamics associated with a networked enterprise.
